Basically trying to get an ESP32 to program another ESP32 the way you would by using a computer. What would be the steps for this process? Do I need a micro-usb to micro-usb cable to connect both of them so one can act as the computer?
Also, would I be able to program the main ESP32 using the Arduino IDE or do I need to access and change the firmware files?
If there are some preexisting guides or videos doing this please link them as well since I couldn't find any.
Kinda new to this side of ESP32 programming so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Program ESP32 WROOM using another ESP32 WROOM
iam also interested in this -
the ESP32 is not a full computer -
so your idea of USB-to-USB cable does not work. (at least not easy)
but the ESP32 can be programmed also over the serial pins -
and that is a way you could do it.
i don't know of a lib that exactly does this -
on a fast search i found:
- viewtopic.php?p=83321#p83321
im my use-case i would like to upload a firmware to my main ESP32 via Web.
and then have this main board update the embedded firmware to the client one over serial...
hopefully someone has some more input on this!
sunny greetings
