Writing to flash encrypted NVS storage during manufacturing

Hi,

we are using flash encryption and want to set some device specific variables in NVS flash during manufacturing (Serial No, Crypto Keys etc.).
What is the best way to generate an encrypted flash image containing these variables?
Is there a tool I can use?

At the moment, nvs doesn't support encrypted partitions. That's something we will be working on for the next version.

The easiest way to generate nvs data is to initialize the contents of nvs on one board, and dump the partition using esptool's read_flash command.
