Hi Guys,
I don't think we can show a picture of the PCB since its going to be in a retail product. It's all under NDA. Pretty cool that everything worked the first try since we have a lot happening on this absolutely tiny board. Pretty much all components are 0201 sized and may move to 01005 in the next version now that things work as we have planned. 134 components on a PCB that is 0.8 inches by 1 inch. It's packed tight since that includes antennas and keepouts.
Once the product is announced, I would be happy to post pictures of the PCB and of the industrial design. It's all a work of art.
By the way, the PCB was made at http://www.goldphoenixpcb.biz and I used traces smaller than 4 mils, absolutely tiny vias, 6 layers, 32 mil thick, and they panelized it for me. Incredible pricing compared to what I was being quoted from other places. One quote was $7200!!! Crazy! Gold Phoenix rushed it for me and it cost just less than $850 for 150 PCBs. Very happy with their work.
Assembly was done by my friends at Out of the Box. They are amazing and so fast. https://obmfg.com/ This was a one-day turn which they handle easily.

VDD_SDIO for ESP32 D2WD
Re: VDD_SDIO for ESP32 D2WD
@jamie
how did you now connect final, i mean specific GPIO16 and GPIO17, what you do with this pins, have you break out this pins for using or NC, cause this is named in the datasheet, that this pins are used for connnecting eMbeddedFlash
and are not recommended for other uses.
best wishes

Re: VDD_SDIO for ESP32 D2WD
Guys my question might be naive.....Are MTDI and VDD_SDIO pins the same? Because I'm using a ESP32 PICOD4 chip and it's foot print is not showing me any pin with name MTDI.
Re: VDD_SDIO for ESP32 D2WD
No, they are not the same. MTDI is another name for GPIO12 (pad 18 of the package). VDD_SDIO is pad 26 of the package.
