In the esp32_technical_reference_manual_en page 384, section 14.2.3 Channels
it says

LEDC_DUTY_HSCHn[3..0] can be used to dither the output. If this value is non-zero, with a statistical chance of LEDC_DUTY_HSCHn[3..0]/16, the actual PWM pulse will be
one cycle longer

Is this something that can happen automatically like toggling the periode back and forth one clock cycle by hardware? Or does it require software. There is nothing mentioned about this feature in https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... ight=pwm
