ESP32 as I2C slave

Hi everyone.

I try to use ESP32 as I2C slave device. I can get initial byte from master and then communication stops. I have question regarding i2c_slave_read_buffer() and i2c_slave_write_buffer() functions: do they read/write ACK signals?

And second question for i2c_slave_read_buffer(): does it read 0 bytes, sent by master or ignore them?
