in any case -
modules from the ESP32, ESP32-S3, and ESP32-C3 series will also be included in Espressif's MINI series.

FYI:
ESP32-S3-USB-OTG with ESP32-S3-MINI is allready available.

i also use Mini Serie's at the Stickley.

Rudi, do you know the difference between ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8, ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R2 and ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R8?

Hi mlinaje,
The difference is the size of flash and PSRAM memory, please see https://products.espressif.com/#/produc ... roducts%22:[%22Module%22],%22Series%22:[%22ESP32-S3%22]}

(Checkout out "ESP32-S3" and "module" in the selector. You may need to widen "MPN" column to see the module name with similar codes.)

Rudi, do you know the difference between ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8, ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R2 and ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R8?

you got already replied, I also add my "mustard" ..
here are a few additions

in this case to have a certain flash type (H for High Temperature[105°C] or N for Normal [85°C]) and Digit for the size: N8 for 8MB Flash (normal)
in this case to have a certain extra RAM: Digit for the size 2MB, 8MB, 16MB. Note there are Quad SPI and Octal SPI version.
if you have limits in your pcb : note that Octal version needs more IO


ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8 ( normal flash 8 MB )
ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R2 (normal flash 8 MB and extra psram 2 MB )
ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R8 (normal flash 8 MB and extra psram 8 MB )

In this case DevKitC is based on WROOM
Note: there is also a DevKitM - this is based on the MINI

s3 mini is still preliminary v0.2.1 but not yet public online there
products/modules | esp product selector | espressif documents
but heard, there will be an updated one on official website very soon dmaxben.
