[Video] ESP32 - Using a logic analyzer

Postby kolban » Sat Feb 04, 2017 8:29 pm

A logic analyzer is an incredibly useful tool to use in conjunction with your ESP32 to examine signals generated or received to/from your ESP32. This short video illustrates the use of such.

Absolutely great for beginners like me.
Could you please add some help, how to find software for those cheaper analyzers ?
Even if saleae software would support those cheap ones, it would not be correct(in my eyes) to use it.

Hello JumJum,
you can use sigrok with Pulseview as GUI. It is an opensource multiplatform software for various logic analyzer and multimeter and scopes. There is also a version in the ubuntu repository. But I think it is a little bit old, so there are not all available decoders.
