Re: New Chip ESP32-S2
Relax if you need BT and the 2nd core, this chip may not be for you and for now you're probably better off using the old ESP32 instead; as I said before, we won't be stopping production of that any time soon. We're certainly not dropping multicore and/or BT as features we wish to have in new ICs; no guarantees but I'm pretty sure there will be a future chip that has both again.

Excited to see the ULP got some love! Can you give us any more details than "less derpy"? What kind of general improvements can we expect?
Re: New Chip ESP32-S2
I'll try. Just seems strange to remove things that to add on to. Going from 2 cores to one seems akin to having a 8 cylinder engine and going with a 4. if your going to do that at least throw in a turbo!Relax if you need BT and the 2nd core, this chip may not be for you and for now you're probably better off using the old ESP32 instead; as I said before, we won't be stopping production of that any time soon. Will the new chip still have a CAN bus controller?

If you have a business case that requires it, I'd suggest you write sales@espressif.com . If you have don't have a business case but have something really cool you want to do with it that requires the -S2, you can try sending me a message. Know that this is only a MPW run, so there aren't many chips available, so don't be surprised if we can't send you any.
Re: New Chip ESP32-S2
There is more smarter than me people who can use it better than just alexa connected smarthome devices (and i can used regular esp32). Since i am focused on AWSFreeRTOS and S2 is not supported there yet. In that case i can wait.
Re: New Chip ESP32-S2
Would the OTG-USB support allow the connection of a USB display / USB2HDMI adapter / USB-OTG hub with HDMI output?

It's a standard USB LS/FS device/host, so if the USB2HDMI has no problems with working at only 12MBit/second and you provide the correct code to drive it, there should be no issues.

Is possible to connect ESP32-S2 to a 4G USB dongle and connect to the internet? (not using WIFI)
