Sorry. Unless there were some last-minute changes I missed:
#define XCHAL_HAVE_FP 0
As I said, this is first and foremost meant to be a cost-reduced chip. We do have some improvements to peripherals that are interesting and that we'll probably implement in all future chips (cache, SPI, camera/LCD, ...) and USB is extra, but all in all it's not meant as a flagship powerhouse.

Will this new chip still have CAN bus?

That's not something I can answer right now, sorry.

From your wording it seem that Espressif is working on a flagship power house?

Code: Select all

task_t coffeeTask()
{
	while(atWork){
		if(!xStreamBufferIsEmpty(mug)){
			coffeeDrink(mug);
		} else {
			xTaskCreate(sBrew, "brew", 9000, &mug, 1, NULL);
			xSemaphoreTake(sCoffeeRdy, portMAX_DELAY);
		}
	}
	vTaskDelete(NULL);
}

Let's just say that we have multiple chips in the pipeline, and the -S2 is not the most powerful one we're going to release.
