PPPoS - reconnect on sim800L failure.

Hi, I`m new to your framework.

I was hoping for a bit of wisdom on PPPoS with sim800L - how to reconnect to internet after module power-off.
Using the example from there https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... pos_client I modified the code to send some data to MQTT broker every few seconds. Now I`m trying to interrupt the GSM connection by powering off SIM800L for a bit, and then I expect ESP to resume internet connection.
I also didn`t notice any MODEM_EVENT which is relevant to module being disconnected.

errors on reconnect attempt:
E (122499) esp-modem: esp_modem_dte_send_cmd(215): process command timeout
E (122499) dce_service: esp_modem_dce_sync(48): send command failed
E (122499) sim800: sim800_init(460): sync failed
