What is the ESP-WROOM-32 default firmware?

Hi,

I have ESP32_Core_board_V2 modules. (This module has ESP-WROOM-32) I have my own desing board with a microcontroller I want to communicate with this modules using AT commands via TX-RX pins of this module. I just want to set the network parameters and send some data.

What is the default firmware in ESP-WROOM-32. Can I use ESP-WROOM-32 without downloading any firmware.

Hi- Did you ever get an answer on this? I have the same situation and would like to communicate just with UART without downloading anything. If you figured it out, please let me know-Thanks1
