COM port error in version 5.4

Postby mikl604 » Tue Feb 11, 2025 9:21 am

I switched to 5.4, there was a problem. The COM port is now available only 1 time after launching the IDF. My program outputs information to the terminal. For the first time after compilation, everything works great. But it's worth compiling again, and that's it, the COM port is no longer available. I close the built-in terminal, but it doesn't help. Even restarting the IDF doesn't help. Only restart the computer. What could be the reason?
I use WIN 11 and CH340 for the COM port. There were no such problems on 5.2.2.

if you change the COM port number, for example from COM4 to COM17, the situation repeats: the first time the recording is successful, and then access to the port is denied again.

Using a scientific poke, I found out that the built-in terminal is interfering, even if it is turned off. Only killing Python in the task manager helps.

How can I disable the completely built-in terminal? This infection is automatically turned on after each compilation!
