Forum super slow

For the last few days the forum is loading very , very slow. Is anyone else having this issue?

yes, it's the same for me. It took about 30 seconds after clicking reply for the edit window to open.

Same here (Spain, if it matters). Many timeouts and several times MySQL backend errors.

Another badly written crawler; it looked more like a DDoS this time. We're working on migrating the forum to better hardware and putting measures against these things in place; if that works out, slowdowns like these stop permanently somewhere shortly after Chinese new year.
