Hi,
We are working on a project where our client wants to develop two products one is Bluetooth enabled and another WiFi enabled.Just for your information our product is like a sensor hub. It is (both WiFi and Bluetooth) is interfaced with different sensors like weight sensor, temperature sensor, i2c based sensor. It collects the sensor data and send the data to the mobile app.
We required following things in our product:
1) Precision ADC,Peripheral support like I2C,SPI ,UART,PWM, GPIOs etc. in both WiFi and ble
2) OAD in both WiFi and ble
3)Bluetooth 5 support
4) For Bluetooth product we will require custom profiles support with 128 bit UUID
5) For WiFi IpV6 support
6) Internal flash more than 256KB in both WiFi and ble
Do you think we can use ESP32 for our application. Just to let you know we are new to ESPRESSIF family and we don't have any experience with ESPRESSIF hardware and software solutions so kindly guide us and help us to select best hardware for our product . We have referred documents provided for esp32 but some point are uncleared like custom ble profile support , whether WiFi and ble stack will be combined or separate. So kindly give your feedback.
Thanks in advance!
Bluetooth and wifi enabled product
Re: Bluetooth and wifi enabled product
hi
Mostly support your product. ESP32 cannot support bluetooth 5, and 32 series has a model named ESP32-D2WD which has a 2MB flash embedded. However, ESP32 is a chip which support wifi and bluetooth simultaneously, no separate version.
More detail about ESP32, you can download the documents from Espressif official website. There are Datasheet、Technical References and so on.
