ESP-IDF v4.2 Debugger Pause (F6) is not working

I like the debugger functionality in ESP-IDF Extension for VSC and I was hoping that the Pause command would start to work after upgrading from v4.1 to v4.2. It didn't and at the same time there was a new unexplained internal error as shown below

local variable 'kwargs' referenced before assignment

I did search all my project files and didn't find kwargs there. This means that the kwargs was introduced in v4.2 or its functionality was modified. This could explain some of the anomalies I have seen in v4.2.

HI @OllieK Sorry for this issue, we are working on a fix for ESP-IDF Debug Adapter in the Visual Studio Code extension.

This issue is not related to ESP-IDF itself but an issue within the Visual Studio Code extension.
