Large chunk of heap gone after 4.2 to 5.1 update

Hello,
As title says, after I updated from 4.2 to 5.1 I have been having issues with my HEAP memory virtually gone when using NimBLE and WIFI together.
Previously when my code ran through I would get around roughly 108,000 value returned from esp_get_free_heap_size(), but after the 5.1 update I am getting ~84,100. Enable my BLE functionality? Forget about it... Drops down to 38k and causes errors with my HTTP Client pings.
My binary is now also 106 KB larger than previous, though this may be due to code changes I needed to make to get Mongoose Embedded for an update.
Seemed the BLE and Coexistence was a lot lighter before???
Were new things added that are now enabled I need to remove?
There has to be something I'm missing, right?
