When I plug in my esp32 no USB device is detected by windows although there is a red light.

I tried 2 boards both behave same way. Board bought from AliExpress. No com port under device manager.

Are you sure your USB cable and USB port work? Can you try plugging the boards into a different computer?

Make sure you have installed the drivers for it.
