ESP32-PICO unknown Chip ID

Postby andriy » Fri Nov 03, 2017 6:53 pm

I made my own board using ESP32-PICO-D4.
When flashing it, I found something like this:

Code: Select all

Flashing binaries to serial port /dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART (app at offset 0x10000)...
esptool.py v2.1
Connecting........_
Chip is unknown ESP32 (revision 0)
Uploading stub...
Running stub...
Stub running...
Changing baud rate to 921600
Changed.
Configuring flash size...
As we can see "Chip is unknown ESP32 (revision 0)" ---> is it normal?
If not, what's the possible cause?

Thanks!
