The instructions for installing the vscode-esp-idf-extension contain instructions for installing the Nightly Build extension. So far, so good, but it does not explain what the extension is good for. I am unable to find anything meaningful on Google either. Is the extension necessary? I am trying to compile the ESP32 XBee GitHub project for the ESP32-S3, but I have had no luck compiling for ESP32 or ESP32-S3 targets. It seems that with the Nightly Build installed, the compilation fails sooner. Any insight is appreciated.
