Can I disable the BLE/Bluetooth and WiFi on a setup for the battery operated operation

Yes, you can do it in menuconfig.
If you are using arduino-ide then, according to devs, bluetooth and wifi are disabled unless you include libs that are using it. (wifi and bluetooth libs)
