The ESP32 modules allow for a wide range of output power levels. For example, the ESP32-S3 allows an output power up to 21 dBm for both WiFi and BLE. When using the ESP32 in a product, we will be bound by local regulations of course.
We are wondering if Espressif or any users here have guidelines/experience on which power levels we will actually be allowed to use in different parts of the world (e.g., North America (FCC), Europe (ETSI), ...) for both BLE and WiFi, if we use the ESP32(-S3). We did some research on WiFi and BLE regulations ourselves, but what we have found is sometimes contradicting and not always straightforward to interpret.
That is why we are asking if there are people here which can provide us some guidance from real-world experience regarding the RF output power regulations, when using the ESP32. Any information is welcome.

As far as I know in Europe the EIRP limit is 20 dBm, so I guess 21 dBm is absolutely okay. (There will be some losses on matching and antenna efficiency, so 21 dBm on the chip output should be fine.)
