Help with EXPORT for Homekit SDK

Hi, Im trying to integrate homekit to my project but I get an error as the path is not find and it says I need to do this:
export HOMEKIT_PATH=/path/to/esp-homekit-sdk/
But the question is where to I have to put or use this export.
