MQTT client won't reconnect

Hello.
How can i find out why the MQTT client hangs when disconnected?
There are no messages about trying to reconnect.

Are you running mqqt server in verbose mode?
Messages displayed?

Hmm, probably yes. There are several log files.
But I didn't see any messages in the console on the client (esp32 device).
