ASSERT_PARAM(1024 0), in rwble.c at line 265 crash

I am running ESP-IDF 4.1 release. The above bug has been fixed in master (Commit 2ad8f8c, https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/co ... bca75c4381)

It has not been ported into Release 4.1 or Release 4.2. This is blocking a production product. I have not found a way to build a "custom" version of 4.1 or 4.2 that just incorporates this fix. When I try I get the following unresolved externals

undefined reference to `llcp_channel_map_req_handler'
in function `llcp_channel_map_req_pre_handler':

This is becoming a panic issue for us. Please let me know when this might be available in 4.1 or 4.2 or advise me if there is a way I can incorporate this fix myself.
