SDCard (SPI driver) card detect and write protect pins

Hello,

Can someone explain to me what is the proper way to handle interrupt from card detect pin?
Should I unmount the card? close the file ???
Also, does the release mechanism in the socket (uSD socket) "give me" the time in ISR to work with the card? (until it is fully released)
