So I've been working with the BLE provisioning stuff for a while and have it working. But a recurring thing is when I change the PROV_ prefix to anything else it doesn't work for a while. I'll change that prefix to something else and it doesn't update. The example provisioing apps or command line tool still only find the old one. I assumed it was an issue with NVS or something but I think I could be wrong. I do a fullclean, build, partition flash, everything I can think. I can grab one of my new, not every flashed chips, and my changed prefix works. So I know it's some step I'm missing. Can anyone suggest what might clean the old prefix out?
Or, possible it's a problem with the iOS example app (which I've already had to fork and modify to work) and its the UUID of the device that's keeping it from changing between the two? Any input into this would be appreciate, thank you.

Try to remove esp32 from paired/bonded device list on iOS. It can keep cashed data.
