Actually it doesn't need d2xx API. It's an option, but the default (libusb1.0) also works well.
You still need a udev rule to avoid loading serial port driver though.

Oops! Didn't the last reply until now.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, LXD doesn't place nice with udev rules, but that's a minor inconvenience.

old posts were keeping linux in mide i suppose.

exact same console prints i got for running open ocd on msys2(windows platform).

my connections are just one micro usb with wrover kit and 4 pins(TMS, TD0, TDI and TCK) from right column(inner column) of JP8 are connected to my jtag adapter(olimex ARM-JTAG-20-10 along with olimex's arm-usb-ocd-h).

how to overcome this issues and what am i doing wrong? please shade some light on this.
