Is it possible to program Adafruit Qualia with ESP32-S3 using ESP-IDF?

I'm new to Adafruit's Qualia board with ESP32-S3 chip. I've been working primarily with the ESP32-WROOM-32D on ESP32-devkit-C (v4), and have been able to program it sufficiently using ESP-IDF. Now I want to be able to connect the devkitC board to the Adafruit Qualia board and wanted to find out if there's a way to program the Qualia board using ESP-IDF or is CircuitPython what I should resort to with the Qualia.
