Discrepancy between WROOM-32 and ESP Hardware design guidelines

Hi,

There is a difference in the two reference sheets "Hardware design guidelines" and "ESP32-WROOM-32 datasheet".
Both can be found here:
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... eet_en.pdf
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... nes_en.pdf

In particular I am referring to the circuit on p. 18 (Schematics) of the WROOM pdf and the schematic on p. 12 (RF Guide)
in the Hardware design guidelines sheet.

We noticed that the resistor of the RF circuit is switched and we were wondering what the correct way is?

The revision of the WROOM is from 2019 and the HW guidelines had it's last revision in 2017 so I assume that
it is the WROOM pdf that is correct.

But please clarify.

Best,
Julian

Wroom-32 uses tapped capacitor matching but newer wroom-32d uses pi matching. Supposedly wroom-32d has better rf performance.
