Wingoneer type socket for ESP32??
We developed a control box based on the ESP8266 NodeMCU LUA form factor and we use the Wingoneer socket. We like this socket because it is easy to wire wrap to external components like relay boards or RF transmitters. I have not been able to find anything similar for the ESP32 family. Perhaps I just missed it. Is anyone aware of a similar solution for one of the ESP32 form factors? We mount the ESP8266 with the Wingoneer socket in a plastic box along with the other components.

Looks like Wingoneer is more of a brand; I get lots of hits when looking for it in Google. Do you have a type number or even a picture of the specific type you mean?

I would be interested in any ESP32 form factor for which I can find a socket similar to the wingoneer where I could wire wrap between the socket and external devices.

My guess is that OP means something like this;

hat looks interesting but not what I was looking for. This socket for the ESP8266 allows me to include it in small enclosure with relays or RF devices and it makes it easy to wire wrap between the base and the IO devices. It also has a built in regulator which makes providing power quite easy. This is what I had in mind when I posted my original question. Is there anything like this socket with wire wrap pins for the ESP32 form factors.

I don't see any board that specifically does this, but if you search for 'ESP32 breakout board' you get some boards that somewhat have the same idea, providing multiple pin headers for easy wire wrapping.
