Interesting but for (my) industrial control I'd not use wifi. There are already lots of wires so ethernet is only one more, and often it is all inside a metal box making built in wifi a problem - it's also not that reliable in congested environments made worse by only doing 2.4GHZ One of the major e...

No ethernet, shame but I can understand why given all the other removed features for this version. I hope there'll be a new one with ethernet plus PHY and maybe a POE PD controller (the lack of those takes away some of the advantages of a small esp32, by the time they are added you have a big board ...

Ethernet PHY added to existing MAC.
