Thanks for the suggestion!
So, can I connect BSS138N logic level mosfet directly to ESp32 GPIO and that should suffice?
No resistor between GPIO and BSS138N should be fine?
Thanks again,
Jay

What should be nominal deep sleep current consumption with touch pin enabled
Hi, I am using ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 module on a minimal custom circuit board with 3v direct connection to a lithium battery. With one touch pin enabled, the deep sleep measured is around 100uA. Is that normal? What else should I do minimize power consumption further? Basically, I want it to monitor touc...

Connect small N20 geared 3v motor directly to ESP32-S3 GPIO
HI all, A newbie question so please tolerate with me. I understand that a toy motor should not be directly connected to a GPIO. However, my project is 3v battery operated and mostly in deep sleep state and it runs motor for 2 seconds approx. once a day. I would like circuit to be as simple as possib...

ESP32-WROOM-32 hardware recommendation on milled board
Hi all, I am using a single layered milled PCB and I read somewhere that stray capacitance on a CNC milled board can be more that an etched board. My question is how do I measure the stray capacitance on my boards and what is a benchmark of production board I need to match with? should I use a 100nf...

Re: Avoid public Hotspot captive pages
Thank you MikeMoy for suggestion. I understand that I cam mimic behavior of a bypassing on my company's captive page settings. However, when the products get to a customer, their company website's captive page will have different 'I agree' button variable name and html layout etc. Any other ideas? I...

Avoid public Hotspot captive pages
Hi, I am trying to make a gadget which I plan to sell. Customer may want to connect to office wifi and most office organizations have free visitor/public hotspot but have to sign in in a captive page with 'I Agree' button on it. Is there anything we can do about it? How can we make ESP32 bypass this...

parse http data from website
Hi, I am following an example from here: https://techtutorialsx.com/2017/05/19/esp32-http-get-requests/ and trying to parse temperature value from a website such as https://www.wunderground.com. I understand I should be using API for this project but I am looking to make it work using regular html p...

Re: ESP32 on Batteries - your setup
Hi Woofy, I was wondering if your project is still going strong after four months? Also, did you use a LDO regulator or directly connected 3xAA cells to ESP32? Any electrolytic cap you added after LDO if you used a regulator? Thanks Guys, seriously, does ESP32 on battery project(using wifi of course...
