Can I add an additional question regarding the strapping PINs? The technical reference manual(ch 7.2) states IO2 should pulled high for SPI-Boot as well as Download-Boot. However I couldn't find any information what happens if the Bit is not read "1"? Furthermore, the DevKitM-1 does not pull this pi...

At a first glance I can't see much differences to the ESP32-C3 (with the exception of 2MB embedded flash and 28-pin package).
What's the reason behind naming it completely differently, following the "old" naming scheme?
